Botanical gardens attract more than 300 million visitors a year, so the plant enthusiasts at Breck’s wanted to find out which gardens are the most popular and which gardens the public is following, engaging with, or visiting in the U.S.
To determine which botanical gardens were the most popular with the public, Breck’s used the following metrics:
- Number of Wikipedia page views in 2020
- Daily Average Wikipedia page views in 2020
- Number of Facebook check-ins
- Number of Facebook followers
- Number of Instagram followers
- Number of Yelp Reviews
